My toxic trait is that every few months I open Inky and start thinking about writing my own Unity line id generator with localisation and VO support with a custom editor just for fun.
Its truly cyclical, and every time I look at other premade options they're never JUST right.

This is supremely well written, excellently voice acted, and most importantly, features a messy, proud, pessimistic woman. So really it ticks all the boxes. You should play it.

I once had a producer swear at me for implementing a quest pickup with a placeholder bright pink cube because it looked like a placeholder. No artist time had been assigned by him to look at anything quest related yet :)

placeholder game asset discourse is hilarious because while everyone is 100% correct, the execs that need progress updates lose their minds seeing obviously placeholder assets.
