Update: low-end downburst wind gusts of 29 and 32 mph were recorded at Clarksville and Baltimore MD mesonet stations with the passage the thunderstorm cluster that developed earlier this afternoon. Downburst potential was indicated by the #goes19 3-channel IR microburst product. #mdwx

While on my bike ride in #mtairymd around 3:10pm EDT, spotted this impressive cluster of cumulonimbus capillatus incus clouds associated with the squall line-bow echo that moved through Frederick Co. around 2:00. The storms in view 30 miles to the SE produced a 36-kt downburst at BWI Airport. #mdwx
