We'll get through these next years with community friends. The present, and the actions of the bigots in power at the moment, are ones that the history books will look back and condemn, just as it looks back and condemns Jim Crow, because the future, eventually, must be inclusive. I do believe that.

I read a lot more fantasy than romantasy too tbh, and no pure romance, so I'm also unfamiliar with some of these tropes. It's not exactly like the author I apparently listen to most is known for his spicy content. 😅 (this is just audible, not hoopla, libby, ebooks, or physical books)
