Earth speaks to us every day. The disasters are hard lessons. The silence of extinct life is a sorrowing Earth. What Earth knows is almost entirely unknown to us. The unknowable Earth is everything that we believe. It is all the commandments.

Then we return to Earth and await further instructions. We know that life itself is the best strategist.
