Surely Nigel is holding meetings with his constituenets to find out about their problems? Or has he cast them adrift now they've served their purpose?....
Farage says he’s “sad” his constituency tops the deprivation charts, yet he’s done nothing to change it. A hollow Putin's pet posing as a patriot, more interested in gold ads, crypto and GB News than Clacton’s struggles. All bluster, no backbone. The people deserve better than this racist fraud.

So America, the country that for decades promoted itself as the good guy to be looked up to, now indiscriminately kills people in boats, with no evidence other than 'they're baddies'.

America gone bad....the only good news is that it's the crazy government, not the people of America.
Hegseth also says that we’re going to “network” these groups, which is bullshit.

If he really wanted to roll up the networks, he would be interdicting these boats and exploiting them for intelligence, not destroying all of it in kinetic strikes.

Many would ask, given the internationally recognised Genocide in Gaza: Why does the UK still have an Israeli ambassador in place?
It's very difficult to see people in power smiling like this when so many women and children have been slaughtered by Israeli forces. What's to smile about????
Last week, Lisa Nandy misled parliament when she made a statement on the Maccabi Tel Aviv fans' ban
Now, Lisa Nandy is facing calls to resign after the UK Government blocked the release of information about her 'secret' meeting with Israel’s fascist UK ambassador Tzipi Hotovely.

If you're wondering why the meeting between Trump and Putin was cancelled, here's my take....
Trump to Putin:
We need a ceasefire in Ukraine. I will guarantee it

Putin to Trump:
Will it be the same kind of guarantee that's in place for Lebanon, Syria and Gaza?

Given the way that mainstream media is owned and governed by paymasters, I guess it's logical that they'd be concerned about a new government which sees things through the lens of health & wellbeing of the population, rather than maximisation of corporate profit.

A 2700 year old Jewish commnunity lives in Iran. They have a reserved seat in the Iranian parliament.

Strange that we never seem hear about this in western media. The community are not Zionists which may have something to do with it perhaps?

completely with this on the principle of 'keep it simple'. Containers just add in layers of complexity....
my most boomer take is that containers were a mistake and we should simply write software that doesn't require a special environment to run
me in theory: dev containers sound so cool!

me in practice: this barely works and took all day to get going

Mr Farage's defence of this is that 'Brexit was not delivered'.
So, if he gets into power, presumably it will be delivered. In that event, God help us all....

So much hatred and division in the Tice/ Farage rhetoric, but so much hope and unity of purpose from Polanski's Greens and Yourparty.
What I don’t understand is why the British press don’t hang Brexit around Nigel Farage’s neck like a stockade.

It was the single worst act of economic self harm in modern British history.

Why doesn’t the British media force him to own that?

Poor old Ian & Duncan Smith, he obviously doesn't know about this from within Israel:
'Maccabi Tel Aviv’s derby against Hapoel Tel Aviv was cancelled due to violent fan behavior '

Why export that to the UK?
This belongs here.
The hottest topic in UK is whether to ban those baby killer enthusiasts from a game or not. Of course all our oligarch politicians say let the motherfuckers sing whatever they like because they are from Israel and then can do whatever they please.

It's easier to understand 'why' when one reflects on George Orwell's Animal Farm. The analogies and metaphors of politics today are astounding.
The data shows Brexit was a massive mistake and badly hurt the economy. We're all paying for it. It was Nigel Farage who sold the lies that it would make life better. How can anyone still listen to him about anything?

Does the following match cancellation within Israel give any clue:

'Maccabi Tel Aviv’s derby against Hapoel Tel Aviv was cancelled due to violent fan behavior '
I have written to Lisa Nandy, following her grossly misleading comments over the Maccabi Tel Aviv ban.

This is about a group of fans with a history of racism and violence. It is not about banning Jewish people - and any attempt to conflate the two is shameful.

The British government must now decide whether it aligns with Prince Andrew and the Monarchy, or whether it does what the British people would deem the right and essential thing, and strip Prince Andrew of his titles and taxpayer funded privileges.

A test of integrity and basic morality.

which really just reinforces the British Government's complicity in the Genocide. No honesty, decency or integrity.

Time for change.

Starmer great on rhetoric and pledges, gets told 'the right things to say',but doesn't realise that non delivery is a fool's paradise.

He is recognised for all the empty pledges. It would be better for him if he were to remain silent, at least then the hole wouldn't get any bigger....

Ed Milliband talks about a 'just transition' to green energy which protects jobs in the fossil fuel industry.

The best way to grow employment is to divest from fossil fuels and accelerate investment in green energy solutions.

Foot dragging harms our health, wellbeing, and finances.

Act now Ed.

There are at least two reports of this kind which have been published in 2025. One calls for A Food Security and Resilience Act.
The government has no plans for our food security and surges on with fossil fuel projects which harm our finances and damage our health and wellbeing.

Money counts....
Tackling the cost of living crisis goes hand in hand with tackling the climate crisis.

We need food security, insulated homes, and cheap renewable energy.
UK food inflation is being driven by climate change-induced extreme weather, driving up price of butter, milk, beef, chocolate & coffee

The price rises in those staples is contributing 40% of overall food inflation

Climate change is hitting peoples' pockets, right now

The Labour Party did some analysis on what's important to voters, then generated some pledges based on that, so people will assume integrity and vote.
Once in power, they ditched the pledges and sided with big money.
Read Orwell's Animal Farm....

That's why we need Polansky/Corbyn / Sultana.
The internet is not always your friend, especially when people have long memories. Clearly Starmer doesn’t though.
