I was in Austin at a conference on the day of the first 5051 protest. This guy was a counter protester, I think it was a .22, but he also had knives, including a machete in his Walmart bag and at least one other knife. And the Velcro strap shoes, mma gloves, bike helmet, and mask. I didn’t say hi.
