I’m ashamed to have voted Labour. ‘Change’ they said. What, change to being even crueller than the last set of ghouls? F that.
If we accept someone is a genuine refugee and they build a life here, perhaps have children born here, what is the advantage to us of expelling them once we’ve persuaded ourselves that their country of origin is safe?

The UK is looking at Denmark, an EU member, as an example on how to best handle immigration.

It’s almost as if we didn’t need Brexit. 🤦‍♂️

ITV asks ‘what could we do to make people from all minorities feel more welcome’ and irony just died on the channel that wangs on about ‘boat people’ every single day and gives Farage a season ticket. @itvnews.bsky.social @goodmorningbritain.bsky.social

Watching BBC breakfast and been served 3 stories about small boat crossings within half an hour.
Imagine if they gave climate change or social care the same attention.

It’s the TV equivalent of rage bait.

My grandmother Alice Richter worked in a Kindergarten in Berlin in the 1930s. One day, she told us, the SS turned up and removed people from the apartment above.
That’s what the US government is doing right now. EXACTLY the same.

The country is close to traffic collapse. When will we see a well connected and affordable public transport system? Has anyone calculated the cost of that compared to the status quo?

Just like with Brexit, those who ‘won’ can’t agree what it is that they all want it be. So they self-destruct and I’m here for it. Nothing lasts forever and neither will these morons.
This is a fascinating turn of events

We have a GP shortage, hospital bed shortage, ambulance shortage, social care worker shortage, dentists shortage and, as my wife who’s in some pain just found out, and antibiotics shortage.

Is anything in this country still working?

Thing is, these incredulous populists don’t even believe this tosh themselves but merely pretend to. And Badenoch was what, the change candidate? Well, if change is extreme far right then yep, job done.
