I've watched every minute Yaro has ever played for CITY and a majority of the minutes he's played for CITY2. I think I have a pretty good idea of what's happened during the games in which he's played.

If fair, impartial statistics can't be used to evaluate players equally, then it's just a discussion of who you like and don't like. You're a Yaro fan, nothing wrong with that. He's a likeable guy and we all want him to do well. He's just not an MLS level CB anymore and should be in USL or coaching.

Oscar, I don't think anyone is blaming Yaro for the entire season being bad, and if so they're incorrect. But using statistical analysis, which IS impartial and objective, and evaluates all players equally, Yaro was one of the worst players in MLS last year and certainly one of the bottom 5 CBs.

Yaro is the topic because he re-signed today. If you want to talk about the really poor play from Timo this year, or the struggles Fall had, Orozco's inconsistency, or Kessler's injury situation, or any of it, more than happy to. But Yaro, by any impartial measure, is a bottom 5 CB in MLS.

Who knows. This signing makes no sense, either from a soccer perspective or a financial perspective.

Minnesota is in need of a rivalry and being in with Chicago, a rival in hockey and football, might create that with the Fire.

Another option being the 2 LA's and SD go with Texas and SJ, Col and RSL go with Cascadia.

But then you have 3 time zones in the same division, which is usually an issue in other sports (is why DET moved to the East in the NHL). BTW this would be fantastic for CITY from a rivalry perspective.
