I don’t know if it’s ironic or contradictory or what but seeing a Mini Cooper zipping around town with HUGE decals of automatic pew-pews plastered all over and “FAFO” nestled in amongst the WoMD kind of threw me for a loop.

Does “Golden Age” refer to a time when planes keep crashing, eggs cost $10–15 a dozen, the U.S. is being booed and protested by all our allies, workers are losing their jobs, and Americans’ personal data is being rummaged through by unelected oligarchs and their strange crew of 20-something incels?

I took the FB, IG, PayPal, LinkedIn, and Google apps off of my account because I read an article about the top companies who “listen” through their apps and share that info. I figured, I’m trying to limit my social media presence, might as well make it a little easier for myself.

I was selected to be a part of a First Friday event which is also a fundraiser for the NCW Art Alliance. My plan is to design & create 5-10 small sculptures using recycled sterling silver, donated leather, and other found objects. #art #firstfriday #atthebench #pacificnorthwestartist

Wandered away to Portland this weekend to see my husband’s band play at The Coffin Club but squeezed in a little time at the bench today. Melted down some scraps and some “oops”, rolled it out on the mill. I’m working on some tiny vessels to put my truths in.
