Three scenes from Buffy the Vampire Slayer play in slo-motion repeat. In one, Buffy throws a football at Riley’s face so hard he falls to the ground, the football “slain,” after he accuses her of throwing like a girl. In another, a stack of heavy books falls on Riley’s head when Buffy knocks them off a shelf he’s inexplicably squatting next to in the college bookstore. In the last, Buffy has kicked Riley so hard while they’re sparring he flies several feet through the air. His response is it will take him a week to “take her,” the Chosen One. Who was holding back for the sake of his ego.

Spent an evening decorating sugar cookies with a toddler and now I’m completely out of green sprinkles.
