Been playing #southofmidnjght and been really enjoying it, a sneaking suspicion tells me that the next couple of parts will be the last though. Thanks to @losiharkin.bsky.social and others for tuning in and checking it out.

Which Anch villager do you share a birthday with?

I’ll take it. I like the snooty characters

Doing some homework for some homebrew shenanigans for the summer. Planning on getting Chains of Asmodeus and the legendarily nutso AD&D module Inferno as well. Been having a lot of fun smashing these two supplements together.

Dungeon Degenerates has a late pledge, Wilderfeast came out and Delta Green had a new expansion. Glad I saw this post

6 cont) the art style is super sketchy, and fits the vibe for this book perfectly. I mean look at this thing. There are mechanics for digging tunnels, lanterns, lots of cool ideas. The price point of this thing is insane, but the pdf version is available online and you should check it out.

6) Kind of a holy grail book for me. Normally I’m a thrifter when it comes to books but Veins of the Earth is a book that will never be published again (one of the creators is an asshole). It’s a shame because it is hands down the best flavor supplement for cave and underdark environs ever. Period.

5e cont) really interesting and flavorful, but when I read it it feels like it was written by fans of The Icewind Dale book trilogy and games. I’ve used creatures and scenarios from this book for homebrews set in cold climates. Do yourself a favor and check this one out if your starting dnd.

5e lol) I know 5e gets a lot of flack for the quality of scenarios (both deserved and undeserved) but if you’re going to get a 5th edition setting book you should get this one. It is hands down the most complete and bang for your buck 5e book I own. Not only is the Icewind Dale setting (cont)

4 cont) one of the things I love about the play style is how many tools are included to make it as easy to launch into a campaign as possible. Character cards, event cards, are all included for around the price of a source book

4) Dungeon Degenerates
One of the first games I ever backed on kickstarter. Found out about this table top after getting into the now defunct Pork Magazine out of Portland. All the art is done by Sean Aaberg and feels like if you smushed ratfink and stoner art with classic dungeon style illustration
