One of the most fascinating things about homestuck fandom was gamzee and equius were in a canon situationship and nobody talks about it because if they did they’d have to admit that gamzee has destroyed or defiled everyone he’s ever been attracted to.

I feel like the “people take homestuck too seriously” vs “people don’t take homestuck seriously enough” is a flawed conversation because it doesn’t address the issue that none of you seem to like it.
