I Haven't had the energy to do my own art for quite some time...but I recently discovered that my oil pastels were water soluble and I had never tried it out...so here's a little, experimental piece with color for fun.

We had a really excellent time learning about and being inspired by contemporary artist Bisa Butler. I have amassed a happy and experimental following and I am so grateful to provide them a creative space to express and play.

Featured are highlights from the Mixed Media Play class I instructed at the Northampton Center for the Arts this past February. We experimented with a new art medium each week. Liquid Watercolor paints, acrylic paint markers, mod podge collage and a variety of drawing tools.

I am instructing a Mixed Media Play class at the Northampton Center for the Arts. The goal is for participants to experiment with a variety of media without having to invest a lot of funds. So far, we have tried out liquid watercolor paints. Next week, we will play with acrylic paint markers! Fun!

With the help from a grant from the Northampton Arts Council, I have been able to schedule a bunch of upcoming classes at the Northampton Senior Center.

For our last session, I asked participants to draw something they see in a photo or in front of them. They found it challenging but I watched them grow as artists. This program is supported by a grant from the Northampton Arts Council.

I eat lunch in my car at one job and in a locked closet at another because those are the only spaces where I feel safe from germs. Another bug is going around at work....funny, the only one who masks (me) is the only one not getting sick. #wearamask

One of my pieces was recently published in the Meat for Tea's quarterly issue featuring local writers and artists of the Pioneer Valley. Grateful to be included!
