You need to do a few things...
Don't delete your account -
Grab all the data there is an option in the settings.
You then delete all the posta and likes etc there is tools for that-
keeping it open and locked down stops anyone else taking it over in bad faith.

Just don't mention Palestine - a very touchy subject and kinda against the anti-fascism ethos. Support for Palestine is labelled as anti-semitic by a very vocal online section of the fanbase (not all) - pretty much has ended a lot of international supporters groups and a specifically celtic.
