We had an incredible crowd turn out for our campaign launch this weekend--and we're just getting started. Together, we can build a more affordable, sustainable, and safe Los Angeles, and a city government that delivers for the people. Donate at raeforla.com. All photographs © 2025 Bryan Bernart.

If I were to become famous for anything on this — the charred, smoking crater where the Internet used to be — I want it to be reminding you all that THREE AMIGOS and TO WONG FOO are the same movie.

I just want the record to reflect I’m not seeing TRON: ARES for one very specific reason and if not for that I’d be there opening weekend.

This is a six year old Kim Jon-un with his tutor in 1990.

I would very much like to read a thread from @dieworkwear.bsky.social about his little suit.

Girl, you're rarer than a STAR TREK fan who "just didn't care for GALAXY QUEST".

When I plagiarize someone else’s apology the Wall Street Journal puts it way in the back below the fold but this motherfucker gets a news alert.

Parker has created a booby trap for every centrist on Bluesky who'd report their trans neighbors to the secret police
I will never, ever vote for Gavin Newsom. Ever, under any circumstances. I don't care if he becomes the Dem nominee, he's still not getting my vote.
On a recent podcast Gavin Newsom tells Shawn Ryan how the Trans sports issue opened the door for him to change his mind on GAC for Trans Youth.

As someone who adored him since 2004 and voted for him 5 times, I can't wait for him to leave office.

There is no way I will be voting for him a 6th time.

I once shot an interview with Paris haute couture designer Christian Lacroix and the interviewer asked him about his use of such bright colors in his designs. He said the world is becoming increasingly grey and color is his weapon to fight back. That stuck with me.

I drew a thing and I’m really happy with how it came out. One of the most relaxing, flow state-y projects I’ve encountered in a while. Gonna keep fishing in these waters for now.

the core idea that can radicalize people is so simple:

there is enough.

there is enough food to feed everyone. enough resources to house everyone. money and technology and medicine to stop the suffering of people around the globe.

once you accept that there's only one question:

why don't we?

The first country the Nazis invaded was Germany.
After Bass spoke with what I assume is a DHS rep, they packed shit up and headed out. The whole neighborhood turned out to chase them out of the park. Some fruit was thrown, alot of yelling

“The New York Times collaborated with a white nationalist eugenicist hacker and agreed to keep his identity a secret to publish a Zohran Mamdani hit piece” is a way bigger story than “18 year old Zohran Mamdani ticked ‘African American’ on his Columbia application because he was a citizen of Uganda”

Scene: Downtown Los Angeles. The quiet city rests from a weary month.

Someone far away, but not far enough away, is blasting “Baby Shark” on repeat.

For at least the 5th night in a row.

It faintly echoes through the glass and concrete canyons like a harbinger of some impending Eldritch silliness.

Warning signs flashing red - increasing dehumanizing rhetoric from a fascist authoritarian leader and his partisan allies
“[These] inner-city rats, they live off the federal government. And that’s one reason we’re $37 trillion in debt. And it’s time we find these rats and we send them back home, that are living off the American taxpayers, that are working very hard every week to pay taxes.” www.al.com/politics/202...
