High on Midgley Moor in Calderdale, walking past the Miller’s Grave (you can see on the right) lies this odd landmark. A glacial erratic possibly, but it may also have been used as a plague stone? Penny stone was also a gambling game, so a meeting place.

The Miller’s Grave is a Bronze Age burial cairn. The rocks have been removed from over the original mound revealing two strange stones lying beside each other. The Grave lies on Midgley Moor above Calderdale in Yorkshire.
