OMG! What a style crime! I wore black jeans and one blue and one black sock last week but it was very dark when I put my socks on!

You’re right, it’s an excellent series. Some stuff I knew and much that I didn’t and David Olusoga was a brilliant guide through the history - as he always is!

Oh good! It’s double figures here too - 10C - and, exciting news, it has actually stopped raining although a strong wind off the Channel must have knocked at least 15C off the temperature…

Yes, me too, but I think that too often friends shy away from memories that they think will upset me and don’t say anything! That’s the way that people from the past get lost - by not talking about them and not remembering out loud!

Memories are good too - turning them positive is the trick! I’ve tried so hard to embrace the sadness as well…
