While it wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't a fake, I'm pretty sure it is. Look at his right side. The coloring is off around him, almost like a border. It's a lighter color, like the person doing it couldn't get the shading of the wall just right.

In Aug 2016 they gave me a corporal position in patrol and yes i got to keep being a K-9 handler. I ended up giving them back their corporal stripes after deciding that it was not worth it, I did not get any monetary compensation for the rank. I am now a corporal again after getting monetary compensation for the rank.

Hard Case Crime always delivers the covers. This one for James Kestrel's FIVE DECEMBERS is like a '50s/60's crime cover with a sultry woman sitting on a bed. She's clearly naked, and she holds a white sheet against her front because she's modest. A man stands behind her, looking out the window into skys red from fire and planes flying overhead. This is one of my favorite covers from HCC. It's for Scott Von Doviak's LOWDOWN ROAD. It just screams '70s trucker movie, with the heads of multiple characters front and center. Many years ago, I bought this hat (well, not the 1 below, but 1 just like it) at a Love's. It was 2/$20. They had another 1, but I didn't buy it. I wish I had.

Hands down, it's 1 of the best hats I've ever owned. But the flex no longer flexes. Now I'm debating to pay $50 for the used one below.
