He's very ashamed (of being caught)
He regrets his choices (to communicate via email)
These actions are not a true reflection of his character (it's worse)

You can try a steady twisting force. It's often easier to get a tape to de-adhere with shear forces. If that doesn't work, try a little bit of ethanol or isopropyl to get the adhesive to soften. Acetone should also work, but I'd try other solvents first. If none of that works, let me know.

Same thing happened to William Shockley, Nobel Prize winner in Physics. I don't know what it is with these guys and their virulent racism/sexism.

Thanks! I'd love to see the others! As a scientist and D&D nerd, I found your chart delightful!

I want to make sure I'm reading it correctly. Am I correct in saying that all "sight" spells are illusion-related?

Did other members of your lab group also produce DnD-related charts? (Sorry if that's a dumb question. The internet barely existed when I was a grad student.)

The Help menu on HULU was the only way I could get it done.

How is it possible that the US is getting worse at an ever increasing pace? Every day seems worse than the one before.

One of the downsides of being a scientist is that we are well qualified to understand just how stupid we can be.

Hope you feel better soon. I truly doubt that whatever you did surpasses my stupidest acts.

It's really sweet! I am eagerly looking forward to breaking down some of the distancing behaviors I've learned over 60 years in the US.

No, that's just sincere appreciation! Whenever someone does the two-handed shake with me, it always adds an element of emotion that's missing from most one-handed shakes. One of my favorite things about moving to Portugal soon is the two-cheek side-kiss they do. it builds an instant connection.

I think you have to pull him off-balance for it to qualify.

Yikes! How repulsive! The last thing we need is to further uncouple science from ethics. This is nothing less than collaboration with evil!
