My mom and I both live with cancers that are treatable with cutting edge therapeutics. Without these medications, these cancers, leukemia and ovarian cancers would be fatal. Donald Trump and congressional Republicans are trying to defund our access to healthcare. #DontKillOurMedicaid.

It is because @barackobama.bsky.social signed the Affordable Care Act 15 years ago that for the last 9 years I have had the life saving immunotherapy drugs that fight my Chronic leukemia. A drug I will have to take for the rest of my life and I will defend the ACA for the rest of my life.

Despite what conservatives say none of us should feel ashamed for for needing the protects of the Affordable Care Act like Medicaid. 15 years strong today and we will defend it for another 15 year ands and beyond. 9 years with incurable Leukemia The ACA saved my life!!

Today the Affordable Care Act turns 15!!! For me it means everything, because I live with incurable leukemia. My medication cost 246k a year for the rest of my life if not for the medicaid expansion I would not be here.

I’m pissed extremist republicans have a crazy budget that cuts almost all of MediCaid. Cutting access to my Leukemia drugs just so billionaires have more write offs on their taxes is nuts. Hands Off My MediCaid.

On #WorldCancerDay the Senate finance committee approved RFK Jr to a full Senate confirmation. For cancer patients like myself this is a slap in the face. I do not have confidence in his ability to lead the nation’s healthcare systems. He is unqualified to lead the thousands of employees of the HHS.
