Rape is the distillation of the far-right worldview that Trump embodies: a gleefully sadistic act of domination carried out as fulfillment of a supposedly natural hierarchy. It would be weird if Trump wasn’t a rapist, given his ideological commitments—which is before you get to all the accusations.
i mean c’mon. the president’s best friend was the most notorious pedo in the country’s history who ran a massive child trafficking ring. every bit of circumstantial evidence we have says that trump was a participant. if this were a criminal trial we’d have enough evidence to compel a plea deal.

The next Bond movie should be about a US naval officer defecting with classified files showing senior gov't officials were using attacks on civilians to instigate a conflict to distract from domestic problems.

Take Bond back to his roots killing Nazis.
One of many costs to US murder (sorry, no better word for it) in Caribbean:

"United Kingdom is no longer sharing intelligence with the US about suspected drug trafficking vessels in the Caribbean because it does not want to be complicit in US military strikes and believes the attacks are illegal."

instead of saying this was good strategy, maybe senate dems should say: "the republicans were going to kill people by starving them to death, and because we aren't monsters, we decided to let this fight go. We'll keep fighting. Stop electing monsters."

As a Jags fan I'm gonna pretend this was at both of em.
Birds fan Quinta Brunson just gave Eli Manning the double bird on the Manningcast.

Great example of why understanding firearms is an asset to journalists.

It provides some important information to this photo. This guy added a sight that you do not need for defensive shooting and an extended magazine. Again not important for defensive shooting.

I'm into season 21 of my re-watch of The Simpsons and I gotta say it's definitely when a corner turns for me. Maybe it's just the large number of Lisa episodes and a lack of Jerk-Ass Homer. But it feels different.

It also has the Kesha TikTok intro, which my Gen Y heart can't resist.

I think that "To Surveil with Love" might be the final "The Simpsons predicted it" episode. The city installs surveillance cameras. Flanders is the monitor and shames anyone for violating social or legal norms.

It's meant to be Gov surveillance, but it predicted social media shame culture more.

Shit, somebody should tell him he can still resign.
In an emotional excerpt from his new book, Sen. John Fetterman said he should have dropped out of his 2022 senatorial race while severely battling depression after his stroke.

And political coverage is based on not-pissing off the GOP base while making the Dem base afraid.
American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

OK, I'm now down with the switch to a winter MLS schedule. More snow games, more northern teams not ready for 60 & 70 temps in Orlando in February.
LOL. Atletico Ottawa almost got a goal early on in the Canadian Premier League final

Senators still believe that winning a deal will get them support. But there are no deals with fascists. You're either a fascist or not. No deals, no compromise, no fucking giving in.

The Jaguars offensive line struggles against the pass rush because they're not allowed to hold. It's been a consistent problem going back a decade. The NFL officials are incredibly nitpicking against the Jags players, but allow other teams to do whatever it takes to protect their QB.
November 9, 2025 at 9:33 PM
The officials made sure to save the Texans final drive. Officiating in the NFL is biased as all hell and needs reforming.

They officiate to benefit gambling not to ensure a fair game.
November 9, 2025 at 9:31 PM
If you're a Jaguars fan and bet on fantasy football (even not for money) you're actively supporting officiating like this. The NFL protects popular fantasy players in their calls.

This game is a peak example.

If the CB literally gets his hand on the ball while the WR is holding onto him it isn't pass interference.

I thought bleeding was an automatic trip to the sidelines? Houston's center is dripping on that ball. #JAXvsHOU

We're going to see a major air disaster before the New Year at this rate.
Things are fine.

I gotta give it to the folks Up North. Y'all're totally right about football being better when there's a chill in the air and the leaves are falling. Makes it a cozier experience than down in Florida.

After Friday night's #UCF loss to another Houston team I'm very grateful for this #Jaguars game.

Holy shit. MLB has gotta cut ties to the bookies. It's destroying the legitimacy of the sport. And we all know that's Manfred's job.

Offensive holding, offensive pass interference, fumbled snap.

#Texans should've just handed over the ball instead of reaching their longest drive.

It will never not make me uncomfortable how football broadcasters capitalize on injuries to make more money.

Just cut to the booth or a wide shot of the field and talk about the game/other games
