I’ve been thinking about this kind of a lot. From the little I’ve seen in DHH’s anti-DEI/post-fallout era (or whatever you want to call it), he seems to be operating from a real victim mentality. He views Apple’s changes to PWA tech as a betrayal. He sees “woke” as something that is out to get him.

Is this at all evidence that embracing Elon Musk’s twitter is a commitment to immersing yourself in fascist normalization and thinking that is constantly verging on phrenology, or nah?

SAME. I signed up for the 37signals Hey app before all this because I liked its features and Basecamp had a good reputation with people I’ve worked with. I heard about the employees leaving over the equity and inclusion talks, then kinda stopped paying attention. And now he’s saying THIS SHIT? Ugh.

Can a formal waistcoat close at more of an angle rather than curving down to the buttons? I appreciate the emphasis on long, stately lines, but the half-circle-ish closing point gives off “bib for a baby” to me. Am I just uncultured and styleless? (Probably yes! But maybe I can learn!)
