Just trying to guess the right word that fits a template is a pretty boring game, I think, so the change I’ve made simply locks Tips until a guess is made. Each consecutive guess unlocks another Tip until you’ve reached the day’s limit.

For those who have been following any of the Word Case stuff I’ve been posting: after this week’s discoveries, I’ve added this bit to the instructions. If you tried it out and got frustrated with how the heat rankings work, I hope this helps! Ok! Good luck have fun!

This proved useful for me. It narrowed the pool of possibilities. What words can mean one thing and also the opposite? But for others, they got synonyms like “damn”, which is a synonym because of a kind of a rather obscure sense in how “fair” can be used. This was certainly a cause for frustration!

For me, I had synonyms like “mediocre” and also “profound”, which have near-opposite connotations.

Bluesky team— @danabra.mov, @jay.bsky.team, @pfrazee.com (sorry! I don’t know who does UX!)—I’ve found this confusing: in a feed, I see the “+” icon when I don’t follow that user. If I go to a focused skeet view, I don’t see the icon, and have to look on the other side to see the “follow” button.
