On Bannon promoting a Trump third term to the Economist:

He’s said this for some time. On NPR in May, I mentioned a Trump remark, and Bannon said it “means he’s running again.” We then had this exchange, according to the transcript:

After the 2008 election, Democrats had Senate seats in these 9 states: AK, MT, MO, SD, IA, AR, LA, WV, NC.

After the 2024 election, they had zero seats in those states. If they held just a few, everything would be different.

On NPR, Beshear addresses his party’s collapse in rural areas. As recently as 2008, D’s had senators from Iowa, Montana, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, North Carolina, South Dakota, Alaska, West Virginia.

The FDA statement ends with a paragraph undermining its own warning.

They signal parents to avoid acetaminophen. Except sometimes. And then:

No “causal relationship… established” with ADHD or autism

AND

Alternatives to acetaminophen have “well-documented adverse impacts.”

Democrats have struggled to find a message, to find the right language, to broaden their coalition.

But one Democrat seems to be able to speak clearly — the “token liberal” on a Fox program who has lots of practice being interrupted, mocked and outnumbered.
