Never too early - SO is terrified of the Mari Lwyd. Can’t understand why - what’s more festive than an apparitional dead horse that demands to come in (presumably for your soul)? I told her this is the exact kind of energy we need to aspire to, especially at Christmas 💀🐴🎅

Had to drop £1100 on a new laptop this morning 🙃🙃🙃

Yesterday was magic: date day with SO in all our favourite places, then saw Yellowcard in a room where I took my first year uni exams before the real excitement began: the first Festive Bake of the year!

Last week, I played bass in front of a super cool organ in Merthyr for my friend and long-time collaborator’s David John Roche’s METAL SOAR première, with Aled and Tom from De’Lour! First time playing playing live for a few years and was super fun!

I was recently commissioned to write this triptych-style poem Called ‘Passing Valleys’, which has been adapted to be used with an orchestral piece by a friend of mine (who isn’t on Bluesky yet!), capturing a valleys town across three key points in time.
