I think I really loved the whole “Riddle of Steel” trick with the broken sword and the head in the hand, throwing them when he realized both of his father figures were wrong. Obvious, literal, but awesome.

I thought Conan the Barbarian was an amazing film. His woodenness worked well for it, he was like a battlechild.

I think it really just comes down to the court system being entirely based around how much money you have to fight a thing. He’s got a brute force understanding of the court system, and it works.
