I am absolutely loving Alien: Earth, but notably not for the xeno; it’s the “What is it to be human?” stuff and the other creatures that’s got me.

The How-To-Train-Your-Xeno bit aside (which is a solid idea), it just looks like a guy in a suit doing interpretive dance 🤷🏼‍♂️

THE SEAGULL was incredible. What an adaptation! Billy Bragg songs, rain on the stage, wire-work, mic removal, literal mic drops, poignant conversation with the audience about the point of art, and none of it was a gimmick but beautifully augmented the experience & discourse…
