Waco's NWS station registered 2.31" of rain this past weekend, our first rainfall of October. South of the city, at McGregor Executive Airport, it was 3.71"

We're excited about the prospect of rain in Waco on Friday. Haven't had a drop since Sept. 24. 2-5 inches in the forecast through Saturday. The powers that be are even moving high school football games around because of the forecast.

In the 2025 off-year election in Texas turnout was up about 8% over 2023 on the first day of early voting in Waco/McLennan Co. These are mostly state constitutional amendments, local school races, etc. Two big ISD bond elections on the ballot. #vote
