Bavinck’s lectures are himself at his most unfiltered - his critiques of Roman Catholicism and of older Reformed theology in it are amplified compared to the RD. E.g: ‘It was a big mistake among the Reformed that they did not recognize the necessity of a Christian philosophy.’
