Friendly Beach on the Freycinet Peninsular Tasmania. The miles of white sand are littered with rocks and shelves of tesselated pavement which make this a photographers paradise. I was completely alone to enjoy this beautiful sunrise!

It was worth the drive for just a couple of hours of light. We were there for 48 hours and had low cloud and torrential rain for about 45 of them!

Hobart.

We are then on to Melbourne and finally The Gold Coast for a family wedding.

The Tasmanian wildlife is fascinating. We just had to stop on the main road to let an echidna cross.

We are half way through a 12 night tour. We started down on the Tasman Peninsular and then moved on to Bruny Island. Last night we stopped over in Mt Field NP to see Russell Falls which were spectacular. We are now on route to Cradle Mt NP before heading back to the east coast and finishing back in

Hi Graeme. Yes. I put full location details in the ALT text for the image. Now in Mt Field NP and it hasn't stopped raining for over 24 hours. At least it means that the waterfalls are looking good. Blown away by Russell Falls last night!
