Went on a "food holiday" and spent travel money on restaurants I'd never been to instead. Ate Shakshuka and Macedonian burek and fancy steak and Czech goulash and Devon crab and allegedly the 5th best pizza in the world. Can recommend doing a food holiday.

Cook Forest! I have this poster on my bedroom wall right now (which you can't see half of because of the light from this angle)

My dude. Everyone in the world knows that Trump doesn't have ANY empathy, because he's a narcissist. Every broadcast since 2016, every article, interview and decision has shown he's *incapable of empathy*.

HOW do you get paid for claiming the one thing everyone knows cannot be the tiniest bit true?

Authors, if you see this, it’s a sign to post the first line of your book.

"Playing cards have been loved by people all over the
world for centuries, and have been used in divination

Oh man, ace illustrator Robert McGinnis died at 99.

Not only all the Bond posters, but also a huge list of pulp crime noir paperbacks (to the point that when HARD CASE CRIME started reviving them in 2004-ish, they used his covers about 20 times).

Starmer deployed his one skill - talking sensibly to make sure that nothing changes - and the outcome is that everyone said nice but empty things.
