English migrant from Grimsby living in France since 2005. Distilling Gin in The Limousin. Zero time for leave voters, their ignorance & gullibility caused me & my family a lot of grief, stress & problems in order to gain nothing, the imbeciles.
I don't visit here as much as I'd like to. Reason, my feed is just full of disjointed responses to other posts and it's like click click click to see, fuck all. Twitter is a cess pit, but at least you see the OPs

I think one of the worst quirks of online spaces is the idea that if someone doesn't post about something, they don't care about it. It encourages performative posting often makes things worse.

I care a lot. I just don't want to add another poorly-informed voice. I'm reading & thinking.

New to here. But not new to campaigning against this most abysmal, useless and corrupt Tory ‘government’.
Hoping to find others on that team here… and being part of ending the rightwing moronathon that has pushed us into shit creek and smashed up the paddles.

It is reassuring that (despite public disinterest & COVID fatigue), the independent public inquiry into govt's handling recommenced yesterday. Truth is important. Victims & their families deserve it. Politics must be based on it. Public health learns from it.
