Chaya Raichik, who is Libs of Tik Tok, is very proud of the terrorism she inspires. Elon Musk has strengthened her platform through his time as owner of X. I don’t see how he isn’t also culpable for these acts.
My children’s elementary school is in lockdown tomorrow because of a Libs of TikTok post on X. But, hey, at least it’s not an echo chamber, amirite?

Many who are deeply disconnected from the harm do view and talk about it privately as a kind of sport. It is gross 🤢

Going back and forth with Meta trying to get my Facebook restored after a hacker ran off with it.
Also going back and forth with the IRS about a debt they claim I owe that I actually paid four years ago.
One of them has been very helpful in resolving the issue, and the other is god damn Meta.

When we moved into our house, I thought the ivy growing on one of the trees in our backyard was real cool. But some years later, it turns out it’s a tree strangler and the vines have become small trunks of their own embedding themselves into the trunk of the tree.
