I'm working on a reimagining of my first crochet dragon, a rainbow dragon named Pryde. I tried a few gradient rainbow yarns but decided to color change by hand. Straight lines felt too unnatural, so I added some staggered stitches. Honoring the original heart panel wings, I'm emphasizing the heart.

Twisted Cryptids arrived with this cute "Nostalgic Wilderness" board and, aaaaa, the nostalgia. It is strong.

Okay. Honorable mention favorite character for Jylisa and her amazing hacker fAIry Eitwon. I mean, all she wants is to propose to the love of her life, daughter of the ship's engineer, pilot of the Light Echo, a vicious pirate vessel. She's got no heritage, no wealth to her name.

Okay, but, really, Jax. Jax is my absolute favorite character in all of A Ring of Secrets. Jax knows what he wants, and he goes for it. When he recognized the love of his life in a thief that was sneaking into the research facility where he was an intern? He went for it.

Shy? Shy is absolutely my favorite character in A Ring of Secrets. When they send text messages, there is no capitalization and no punctuation. Who has time for that when the message is perfectly clear without it?

Songbird doesn't get a lot of screen time in A Ring of Secrets, but she's still my favorites. Along with Kip, she was one of the first two characters in the story to actually exist, helping me understand the whole universe that these characters are operating in.

Kip is completely my favorite character in A Ring of Secrets. He was actually the first character to exist in my mind for this corner of the universe. I started a short story about how he and Songbird met, and it sort of spiraled outward from there. First, the crew of the Rhemora. Then the rest.

Valta might be a bit of a dark horse, but she's still my favorite character in A Ring of Secrets. She calls BS on this whole situation. She's got the highest-quality brand new technology in her prosthetic cybernetic arm and eye.

Shen's easily my favorite character in A Ring of Secrets. She comes into the novel with one desperate attempt to hold on to something precious to her by passing it off to a stranger. The chances that this would even work are so, so slim. But she's a very "Never tell me the odds" sort of a person.
