@giofabman.bsky.social discussed with us how the UNSC enabled and discouraged its membership expansion during the Cold War. And he reminded us in his brilliant way how inspiring it can be to work in the archives

This semester’s five Europe in the world research seminars @eui-ggp.bsky.social could have been not more wonderful and timely. We started off with @stefwalter.bsky.social talk on responding to noncooperative behavior, say for example by the US, and how to respond to it

Incredibly moved that @anaprokhorov.bsky.social and @raffaelemstr.bsky.social secretly orchestrated my nomination for ISA’s J. Ann Tickner award. Warm thanks to all of you who supported the nomination. I still can’t believe it. @eui-sps.bsky.social @eui-schuman.bsky.social

So happy to be celebrating my absolutely wonderful colleague Lisa Prügl. The two of us joined the Graduate Institute at the same time. The freshly minted assistant professor who I was then, was always able to discuss the ropes of the trade with her - the good, the bad, the ugly. Thank you!

Fabulous talk by Michael Williams on “The crisis of the conservative international order”. We dived into ideological spaces and compositions - as well as their practices. Just curious to know where Elon Musk fits in all of this (enjoying my first bsky tweet)
