In the third seminar of the semester @kseniyaoksamytna.bsky.social inspired us to discuss international organizations, individual biases of IO officials and the perpetuation of racial hierarchies

Next, Lora Viola presented a paper on the narrowing of global governance - focusing on racial justice and minority rights movements and how these issues were captured by international organizations.

This semester’s five Europe in the world research seminars @eui-ggp.bsky.social could have been not more wonderful and timely. We started off with @stefwalter.bsky.social talk on responding to noncooperative behavior, say for example by the US, and how to respond to it

So happy to be celebrating my absolutely wonderful colleague Lisa Prügl. The two of us joined the Graduate Institute at the same time. The freshly minted assistant professor who I was then, was always able to discuss the ropes of the trade with her - the good, the bad, the ugly. Thank you!
