Vic Labor have already cut huge numbers of environmental programs and jobs in Victoria, and axing Sustainability Victoria is just the latest example of how Labor simply does not care about the environment.

The gov has approved 32 new coal & gas projects, & when you count the emissions from our coal and gas exports, 🇦🇺 is the 2nd LARGEST CLIMATE POLLUTER ON 🌎.

The people are here at Rising Tide to shut down the biggest problem and build the biggest solution. It’s amazing to see.

An honour to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Pathways to Politics for Women.

We need to actively dismantle barriers that stop women of diverse backgrounds from leading - bc it's those women fighting hardest for gender equality & politics that put people before corporations. 🌏

Today is International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

I don't want to talk stats, I want action.

The Greens took a plan to address the national crisis of family, domestic and sexual violence to the last election.

We need the Labor to come to the table with funding.

Something you might have missed this month: the new Emissions Gap report from the UN is another indictment on Labor’s climate inaction.

UN report: Global climate ambitions 'off target' – DW – 11/04/2025
A new UN report shows that global temperatures continue to rise despite a slight slowdown in emissions. It reiterates the call for countries to be more ambitious on climate action.

When both major parties spend decades protecting corporate profits over improving people’s lives, it’s no wonder Australians are losing faith in the democratic institutions that are meant to serve them.
Confidence in democracy lower outside major cities, study finds
Experts warn Australia's democratic institutions need more protection as confidence falls.

There's an entire shopping list of things we could fix with even a fraction of the money we are throwing at AUKUS.

Instead, this gov't is throwing our collective wealth into a project that fuels an arms race and shackles us to an increasingly unstable US.

Treaty in Victoria is a historic win for truth and justice, led by First Nations peoples who've fought for generations.

But the work doesn't end here. There's still a long road ahead for real truth-telling and self-determination.

Treaty must mean real power, not just promises.

The Victorians government's "adult time for kids" isn't about safety.

Experts are clear: harsher sentences just lead to more reoffending, not less.

This is politics at its worst, bowing to the far right & doing nothing to make communities safer.
Possible life sentences for children under Victorian crime crackdown
Children aged 14 and above will face adult sentences in adult courts if caught committing violent crimes such as home invasions, in sweeping new reforms by the Allan government.

As Pacific climate leader Joseph Sikulu said, “If anybody is owed a COP in this world, it’s the Pacific.”

Leaders in the Pacific have deep, proven climate credentials on the world stage. They should lead alongside us.

Labor's pushing their environment reform laws as "common sense".

But making native forest logging and polluting fossil fuel projects easier isn't common sense.

All the Greens want are nature laws that actually protect nature. Pretty simple, right?

On Monday, I tabled the cohealth petition with 6,000+ signatures calling on the state and federal govt to keep the doors to these vital health centres open.

Without urgent intervention, 12,000+ people will lose access to affordable, essential healthcare.

Labor: do the right thing. Save cohealth.

Frankly, the PM failing to attend this year's COP is a massive cop out.

He should be doing everything to secure the bid to host COP31 in Adelaide next year, which could be a defining moment for Australia to show genuine leadership & put an end to dirty new coal and gas projects.

1) The Minerals Council begging the Coalition to pass Labor's environment laws is another example of how pro-business, anti-nature the laws actually are.
