We were born on a planet abundant enough for everyone to thrive…

But the rich and powerful carved it up, waged war on what they couldn’t own, called it scarcity

…and sold us the illusion that we must compete for crumbs.

Chartism, a working-class reform movement, was strong in the north but its last big rally, held #OTD 1848 on Kennington Common, London, was a flop. In the short term Chartism failed, though by 1918 all its democratic demands had been achieved except annual general elections.

Great afternoon at Leeds Rhinos for the 745 Game in honour of Rob Burrow, Ed Slater and Doddie Weir. Rob's team won 33 - 21 v Ed Slater's team. Some real legends of League and Union playing. Over 10,000 in attendance so a healthy amount of money raised to fight MND.

The solution is simple: the RFL must allow this case to be heard by Sport Resolutions, the same independent arbitration service trusted by every major sport in the UK - inc Premier League, RFU…

If the ban is fully justified, why reject independent scrutiny?
