Right on schedule, the Thanksgiving cactus bloomed this week. The past couple of years it's bloomed with two different colored flowers, no idea why but it's pretty.

"Watching" the Saints game on my phone since the local station opted to show Dallas/Philly instead of NO/ATL. Hubby asked the score (Saints not winning), and then made me this cocktail that we're calling "Draft Day 2026". 😂😭. #whodat

One of those coffee personality quizzes, and it was actually right! For my favorite order anyway, I dunno about that "sophisticated" part. 😉. And I only correct people in my head, not out loud. Latte is what I get most often because otherwise I'd never drink any milk. But cortado-- that's my drink.

Went back to what I knew for loaf #3 and proofed it on the counter instead of the fridge. Off to clean up the garden while I wait for this to cool enough to cut into it!

2nd sourdough loaf was a fail. Tried cold proofing, and obviously didn't do it right. The compost bin needs some bread anyway. 😂

110 pounds of doggie demands. This is Stella, my canine little sister. So far she refused to come back inside until I relented and gave her extra pretzels (her fave), and now she's insisting on snoozing on her porch couch in true diva fashion.

I'm part of a therapist co-op, and we have monthly get-togethers for networking. Last night we learned how to make sourdough bread, and this is my first loaf. Looks and smells pretty good!! This could be the perfect cold weather month hobby...

Took a walk through the botanical gardens today with my mom and sis. The troll sculpture (has an interior maze!) is one of the current exhibits, and the owl is part of the seasonal scarecrow trail. The up view of the tree was taken from inside the troll maze. Beautiful weather for a walk today!

The tulip magnolia is blooming at my office. Strange because it's a spring blooming tree. I'd love for it to be spring instead of fall (!!), but alas... the tree is confused. #alabamaseasons

Worked my first show as a volunteer usher! I'm also on the list for the symphony and playhouse, so hopefully lots more shows to come! Trying to fill the 'empty nest' calendar before the kid leaves home next year and hubby and I morph into boring people. 😂
