@matthew-wright.bsky.social interviewed #liamhalligan deflecting on #BREXIT as usual. The CEBR 2013 forecast (they were big Brexit fans) grossly over estimated UK growth by 2023 or 2025. The forecast was about 10% higher than actual 2023 GDP whereas Germany and France were 18% below and 7% below

Assuming Cars are charged a 25% and Pharma 0% the the Average Tariff charged on the EU export mix is only 16% not the headline 20% and 11% on the UK export mix not the headline 10%
