I nerd out about ADHD neuroscience, play the violin, and write romantasy books as an outlet for my current feminine rage... Currently learning how villain eras get started...
Yes, we want stable, thriving businesses.
But they can’t thrive if we don’t.

So this month, ask yourself, does your business take care of you?
Does it give you the space to live the life you actually want?

If not… maybe it’s time to make a change.

Gently yours,

Stephanie

Until one December, stuck in Christmas traffic on 1604, I realized I was too exhausted to even drive home safely.
So I pulled over.
  Sobbing. Burned out. Completely undone.

That was the moment I understood:
You don’t build a sustainable business by breaking yourself in the process.

just my brain working at a different speed.

So I’ve learned to take notes that work with my brain…and design events that do too!

Anyone else have something you’ve learned that turned out to be SUPER helpful when it comes to learning for your brain?

Weirdest hack wins!

I can’t tell you how much I love having moments like that -- to slow down, to laugh, to be reminded how grateful I am that I get to do life with him.

Sometimes it’s not the big milestones that matter most.
It’s the quiet drives, the simple rituals, and the people who make it all meaningful. ❤️❤️

But being able to bring him along with me? Was…amazing!

We grabbed Ritas, walked along the beach, let the sun and the spray soak in, and just enjoyed.

Nothing fancy.
No agenda.
Just time with my best friend.

If you run a business with ADHD (or you lead people who do) this one’s for you.

Because the reality is, ADHD brains are powerful. But when we fall into these traps, we’re not just hurting ourselves, we’re slowing down our businesses too.

Winnie sat down with me and we broke down:
- Being a boss with ADHD
- Managing team members who have ADHD
- Self-management tools that actually work
- Threading the fine line between structure and freedom

I put together my 5 Top Tips for LinkedIn Video Marketing -- the same principles I use (and teach) to help videos reach the right audience and get watched all the way through.

Save this list, then start creating.
Because your audience isn’t just on LinkedIn -- they’re watching.

If you want your videos to stop the scroll and spark engagement, it’s not about fancy gear or flawless delivery.
It’s about strategy.

Do your marketing promises match your delivery? Or are you hoping people won’t look too closely?

And leading with flattery is a legit way to get attention. When it’s done legitimately.

Otherwise it’s not alignment, it’s bait.

How we get someone’s attention is a preview of how we’ll treat their trust.

I know this post might sound snobby but…truth is, I don’t care about “big”... I do care about real.

I’m not down with false flattery and BS credibility claims.

We live in a world where creating outreach messages is increasingly easy.

-255 episodes, but no Apple reviews

 -162 YouTube followers

-An email domain that led nowhere real

-No publicly listed core values for me to confirm the “identical” claim

-A podcast that conveniently led to a high-ticket event

So tell me, LinkedIn -- what other shady marketing tactics do you think need to be called out?
August 11, 2025 at 6:02 PM
And honestly? That doesn’t just hurt your reach -- it hurts your reputation. It tells people you might be just as pushy in a sales situation, too.

I’m calling out the behavior here, not the individuals.
Because we can all do better than this.
