Reading about parents in scoliosis FB groups having to worry about paying for their child’s surgery is heartbreaking. Not only do you have to learn about the condition, all the options, make a decision, but also have to deal with insurance, appeals, potentially selling your house/change jobs..1/2

Hating on “Big Pharma”? Cool, it’s a $1.6 trillion regulated industry. But hang on…the $6.3 trillion wellness industry sells you mushroom tea, dewormers, crash diets, and alkaline water—no regulations, no oversight. But hey, it’s ‘natural,’ right?

So the guy leading RFK Jr.'s vaccine-autism study?

A total quack who was previously charged for practicing medicine without a license for using chemical castration drugs on autistic children.

@europepmc.org does have all* of PubMed indexed (and indeed partners with PMC for full text) - in addition to other sources (incl. for preprints).

OpenAlex (openalex.org) and Lens (lens.org) similarly include all* PubMed records, as does @openaire.bsky.social (but less easy to filter in webUI)
