Today this quote in The Hero’s Journal (Legend of Istoria) brought me a bit of inspiration. What is a little thing that brings you joy in this insane, mad world?

As things in the U.S. look increasingly hopeless due to spineless elected Democrats protecting their self interests, bird song returned to my little corner of Colorado on this cloudy, unseasonably warm mid-Winter day.

I’m still trying to figure out how to show up on social media given the hellscape that is the U.S…in the meantime, I’m trying to rebuild my writing practice.

Today, remember Martin Luther King Jr. Not the peaceful, watered-down, ever-quotable man you learned about in school. Instead remember the man that raised questions exposing the evil that is capitalism- the radical, mobilizer, and a threat to the systems of oppression that define the US.
