My belated pic from the 18th in Denver. Estimated 30k people — so many and such a tight packed crowd that after the front end of the crowd started moving, it took about 15-20 minutes for those of us in the middle/rear to start walking as well.

Got new wheel bearings recently and the dust/grease cap came off the hub. 🤦♀️ I'm at least 45 min from a repair place in any direction. TFW your temporary vehicle fix involves a ziploc, a hair elastic, and 🤞

Writer friends: I wrote a short story that I think (at 1am, after revising all day) is publishable. Am reminded why some folks find this process daunting. What’s good? What’s open? Who publishes long short stories? (At 7k words, mine’s a chonker.)

So Puck did something to his knee last week, and I ordered a gray ottoman from walmart so he can get on and off the bed easier but they substituted this monstrosity. I have never felt such irrational anger at a piece of furniture in my life. I can feel myself getting diabetes just looking at it.

(1/?) So a couple years ago, I paid $5k for 5 acres in Southern Colorado near the Rio Grande, just in case… IDK, a grizzly eats my legs and I can’t drive anymore? I may not be able to “do anything” with it, as there are rules and regs to make things more difficult for the poors. But….

I got this article of clothing the week. The pandemic started because I needed cheap warm layers immediately. I don’t particularly like this sweatshirt. A couple months into the pandemic, I told myself, when the pandemic ends, I’ll burn this thing.

I’m horrified by MANY things rn, but imo the most urgent is the Elon Musk power grab. Can he just shut down govt payments now? 🤷♀️ (And since i was a uscg comtractor, do his interns have my ssn? 🤷♀️) I used the 5 Calls app to call my representatives. It was awkward, i hated it, but may be worth doing.
