The thing about fansubs is regardless of anything else that may be going on, ultimately fansubs are made by someone who *really cares about what they're making*. That actually was true at one time at Crunchyroll. It is not true now.

There I go doing it again for the hundredth time today, absent mindedly dragging an mkv file into Sony Vegas 18 expecting it to work and watching as it and my window explorer both lock up and am forced to close them both
I love needing to remux from mkv to mp4 just to get my editing program to work

Welp, I'm lucky the one thing that's having issues being filled can just be purchased over the counter no questions asked. Gives me 5 weeks to work out what the hell is going on with my prescription.
Still annoyed I only learned it from this evening's call with the pharmacy trying to sort things out

the post credits cutscene of kingdom hearts 3 only makes sense if you're aware of the events of TWO different mobile phone games that aren't available anymore, one of which was japan-exclusive
(they recap them in the collections but only partially!!!)

After "film trilogy that dropped a critical plot point exclusively via timed Fortnite event" and "video game series whose story only makes sense if you're aware of the events of a canon pachinko machine", I feel like there are whole frontiers of user-hostile narrative design waiting to be explored.
