Le changement climatique (CC) n'augmente pas le nombre de cyclones mais la proportion des +intenses. Dit autrement, le CC inhibe en moyenne la formation des cyclones mais quand ils se forment, ils s'intensifient +rapidement, sont de catégories +élevées avec des effets (inondations...) démultipliés.

Les dernières simulations pour le cyclone #Chido sur Mayotte sont extrêmement, mais vraiment, inquiétantes. Et j'espère que les simulations vont évoluer.
Jusqu'à 280km/h pour le pire des scénarios. La population, particulièrement vulnérable, va être livrée à un monstre.
