This app literally made me buy a new phone.

(My old phone often locked up when using the features that disabled certain apps. I had to uninstall Focus Friend just to be able to use my phone. And I wanted to use the app so badly that I bought a whole new phone.)

I still have my poster from the Night on the Towns event! I come across it any time I move or reorganize and can’t bring myself to get rid of it.

Going to try to catch up today! Finding listening time can be hard when taking care of a toddler 😅

This is so valid and exactly why I had such a successful Tumblr as a teenager and struggle to post on social media as an adult.

There was also always a clear difference in the content to me. If I couldn’t use sound for some reason, I’d always watch Reels because the sound almost never matters. People talked more on TikToks, which contributed to feeling like I was seeing a person and not just a piece of content.

I don’t know why it is, but I do know that I always preferred TikTok because I felt like I got to know creators and their personalities. I see Reels and have no idea if I’ve ever seen a Reel from that person before, everything feels very impersonal and curated.

If I think too critically about books I often realize they’re worse than my first impression of them, but I don’t wanna do that so I just give everything 4-5 stars and never think about it again. I just want to enjoy the vibes.

Connections has made my brain work in bizarre ways because I saw those words and just somehow knew they went together.
