I loved getting reacquainted with Conner from -Insignificant Events in the Life as a Cactus by Dusti Bowling. He’s headed to high school but he has moved & it’s hard enough making friends when you don’t have Tourette’s.This is a day to day of his life. It’s both heartbreaking & hopeful. #BookPosse

Pick up Writer’s Digest. Read a fair number of writing blogs. Practice every day. Set a writing goal (800 words a day to start, push to 3K as you improve). Get typing to 70wpm. Save the Cat and Story are good starting textbooks. Read read and read and write write write!

The universe did its best (I had to work late, the power went out from a sudden storm, and I still have to clean and make dinner), but I'm happy to report that I have written today!
