"YouTubeTV has a base plan of $82.99 per month". Wait. . . didn't people cut the cable cord years ago for less than that?

Working my way down clipboard checklist while wearing a lab coat, looking at the cat.
"Who is the goodest kitty?"
"Who is the fluffiest kitty?"
"Who is the goodest, fluffiest kitty . . . ?"

I'm Commodus. My reign ended the Pax Romana, the most peaceful period of the Roman Empire, but saw the completion of the Cloaca Maxima. Sewage systems and personalist deity cults are sexy.

Sure, if you buy a 19th Century farmhouse in Vermont or a Haussmann-era stone pile in central Paris, you walk into it knowing that you'll be paying tens of thousands of dollars per year in maintenance. But for new construction? What, do they enthuse about getting splinters as 'authenticity' too?

The cited article indicates that 75% of the cost of the program is in setting up the maintenance, supply chain, and training platform to operate Seahawks on into the future. Australia has already established this platform, so that's why they're paying a quarter of the per-aircraft price.

You can't beat Francis Ching as a gateway to getting into architecture. "Introduction to Architecture" for history, theory, and design, then "Architecture: Form, Space, and Order" for a comprehensive overview of concepts and the toolbox of elements used to design a building.

I drive this route every day I commute downtown to work and agree that the highway-like nature of 29th and 30th streets are hostile to pedestrian access in the neighborhood. This plan would be a welcome change, particularly if one of the three lanes for each street became protected bike paths.

I'd always just chalked it up to air friction being proportional to kinetic energy, and kinetic energy being squared with velocity.
