Oh, that sounds awful. Somehow I’ve avoided tinnitus despite going to lots of loud gigs and playing in a very loud band.

He was fussy throughout whenever things went a bit astray, but what else are you going to expect?! He messed up a couple of guitar parts, and I thought he was going to kick himself out of the band 😜

Honestly, I didn’t find them *that* loud, but it’s all relative. They’re still the only gig I know where venue staff insist you take the free earplugs.

We accidentally ended up right at the front, which was excellent for the full-on sonic assault, as well as to see Kevin’s onstage fussiness up close. I think a bit further back would probably be optimal.
