Last Friday, I attended the funding announcement for Phase 1 of the Faneuil Gardens redevelopment.

I was honored to receive the Gender Justice Leadership Award from MassNow. I’m always proud to stand with my colleagues to fight for women’s rights and LGBTQ+ equality as we continue to make the Commonwealth a home for everyone!

Another successful parade! Thank you @mayorwu.boston.gov and Mira for helping us celebrate Allston Brighton! And thank you to the many volunteers, sponsors and bands. Without you, there is no parade!

I am honored to be the recipient of the Black and Latino Legislative Caucus Campeón Award. And proud to have played a part in increasing majority-minority seats in the House of Representatives from 10 in 2010 to 33 today.

I am honored to receive the UMass Boston Chancellor’s Medal for Distinguished Service. UMass Boston changed my life and I proudly proclaim my Beacon Status!
